The house is an old farmhouse on the edge of St. Andrews, it was last used as a working farmhouse about 1975. It nestles in a dip below Kinkell Braes on the Anstruther side of St. It is about 100 yards from the East Sands beach and has easy access to the beach. The East Sands Leisure Centre with swimming pool is similarly close. We have free WIFI available throughout the house.

The Greek Orthodox community in Fort Pierce had its beginning in the 1930s. Although few in number and without a formal place of worship, the parishioners had periodic visitations from visiting priests, first from Miami and later from West Palm Beach. The community first built the Hellenic Center and groundbreaking for the church followed in October of 1986. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church celebrated the Opening of the Doors on December 6, 1987.
